The Lucerne School of Art and Design is a creative space for people wishing to move the world. For the support of the bachelor study program Design Management International we are looking for you immediately or by appointment as

Assistant 50–60%


Tasks and job requirements

  • take on administrative, coordination and organisational tasks
  • support the DMI management in the planning and implementation of the study program: semester planning, budget management, accounting, etc.
  • plan and participate in team meetings and their related activities
  • contact point for students and lecturers in the everyday life of the university
  • support communication and other platforms (Sharepoint, Ilias, My Campus, Instagram)
  • -collaborate in the organization and implementation of informational events
  • support of module and general documentation (evaluation, internships, etc.)
  • sssist with the organisation of space and infrastructure: prepare classrooms, teaching materials, classroom equipment
  • link with the students to foster and monitor a flourishing classroom culture
  • manage projects that represent the degree programme and make it visible, including info days, aperitifs, and exhibition projects

Your profile

  • dedicated, with growth mindset, willing to help us create a kinder, wiser, learning environment for all
  • completed university studies BA at a university level (Master not required)
  • work independently in a dynamic team of teachers and learners
  • experience in coordinating activities and handling projects with self-initiative
  • positive attitude, good social, emotional and intercultural communication skills
  • accountable, productive, independent, flexible and a good team member
  • good computer skills: Microsoft 365, Teams, Adobe Suite, Zoom. SAP preferable, and are willing to learn new software skills
  • excellent oral and written language skills in English and German (Level C1)
  • working experience in a comparable position recommended
