Position Overview

SodaStream are looking for a Senior Finance Manager with exceptional drive and determination to succeed. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing business as a key member of our exceptional UK Leadership & Finance Team.

We are looking for someone who will have the courage to be bold and take risks, spotting opportunities and using their initiative to act on them, quickly. They will understand the importance of urgency in their role but will also ensure that every task is executed with excellence.

The Senior Finance Manager will provide the strategic financial direction to the business, to support the development of SodaStream UK, leading the Finance team to ensure financial processes and reports are delivered in an effective manner.

Primary Duties:

• The preparation, review and management of all aspects of the company financial accounts (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Providing exceptional leadership with a special focus on the development of the finance team.
• Being an active member of the management team to drive key initiatives and play a significant role in systems and process development.
• Providing insightful financial analysis and management information to facilitate an effective and commercial decision-making process.
• Acting as a Business Partner to the other departments providing financial insight and understanding to non-financial managers.
• Developing and enhancing procedures to ensure efficient and effective management of the business.
• Financial planning, analysis, and management of the budgeting & forecasting process in accordance with HQ timetables and guidelines.
• Monitoring performance and profitability closely against targets.
• Leading financial, management and HQ reporting, ensuring all deadlines are met and are in accordance with group policies.
• Fiscal reporting and compliance including statutory accounts and tax.

This role will be based in The Netherlands and will manage a UK based Finance team.

Requirements

Professional Skills

• Fully qualified – CIMA (or equivalent qualification)
• US GAAP
• Strong technical background in an FMCG organisation
• Experience in a leading publicly traded company, with large international presence
• Great business acumen and commercial awareness
