Client Relationship Officer



Your team


Pictet Asset Services (PAS) provides custody, fund services and trading solutions for external asset managers, fund managers and institutional clients. We manage every aspect of the asset servicing value chain and our range of bespoke solutions include value-adding analytics, trading strategy support and digital front-end interfaces designed to provide an unrivalled customer experience.


Your role


•    Providing daily, high quality operational support to asset managers appointed by clients.
•    Setting up operational relationships at account inception and/or prior to fund’s launch (by means of an operating memorandum), while working with business implementation teams.
•    Ensuring that all operation-related queries are promptly resolved, issues are fixed, solutions are found.
•    Managing daily operations such as payments, cash management and cash sweeping, segregated account opening and routine controls.
•    Setting up access to Pictet Connect, Pictet’s online banking solution with end-user accounts validated.
•    Providing support for processes associated with the opening of segregated accounts, including the associated controls and nuances for end beneficiary markets.
•    Working closely with all the Group's operational teams and functional divisions.
•    Representing Pictet during service review meetings with asset managers.
•    Ensuring that operational documents (operating memorandum, internal procedures and internal checklists) are in place, applied and up-to-date.


Your profile


•    Excellent knowledge of asset servicing (custodian bank/investment funds), of operational flows as well as experience of client-facing activity (at least five years).
•    Ability to cope with stress in a deadline-driven role requiring structured thinking and the ability to manage multiple priorities by gauging operational impacts, complexity and risk.
•    A client-oriented approach coupled with an ability to manage situations that may require both a sense of diplomacy and technical expertise.
•    Strong client orientation and ability to build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Keen sense of initiative, with an ability to thoroughly assess sensitive situations and put forward solutions, as well as ensuring follow-up to ensure decisions are implemented and issues are resolved promptly.
•    Open-minded with a critical approach to suggest improvements, contribute to brainstorming and the continuous search for efficiency. 
•    Good compliance knowledge and strong risk-management awareness.
•    Team spirit, with good communication skills, solidarity, and ability to share and accept feedback.
•    Fluent English and French a must, good knowledge of German would be a major asset.
•    Expert user of MS Office and banking systems.
•    The chosen candidate must be resident in Switzerland.
