R&D Internship in Traction Transformer data collection 80 - 100% (f/m/d)

You will be part of the TT Platform development team. TTPlatform consists of electrical and mechanical tools used to design Traction Transformers. You will be part of an agile development team together with  key people with specific expertise in the design of traction transformer affecting directly our design performance.

Your responsibilities

  • Configure and establish a comprehensive system in Azure Databricks for unified data acquisition and analysis

  • Implement best practices for data storage, processing, and security within the Azure Databricks environment

  • Design and develop mechanisms to collect, store, and process big data on Traction Transformer designs

  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and relevance

  • Develop machine learning models to improve Traction Transformer design and efficiency

  • Continuously improve machine learning algorithms for enhanced prediction

  • Contribute to software tool development aligned with project objectives

  • Provide ongoing user support, resolving inquiries and troubleshooting issues

Your background

  • Bachelor studies in Electrical Engineering, Software Development or IT

  • Experience in setting up and managing Azure Databricks (preferred)

  • Big data acquisition and processing experience

  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and algorithms

  • Interested in software development with Phyton, Matlab and algorithms

  • Basic electrical engineering and transformer design skills would be a plus

  • Programming know-how in VBA, Access, Matlab and Phython

  • Business level in English, French considered an advantage

  • ​Proactive, self-driven, and strong team player with excellent communication skills

  • Ability to thrive in an agile work environment under the Scrum framework.
