English Teacher – TEFL (Summer)
Cambridge (16+ students)
Full Time/Fixed Term
Passionate about education? Bold, confident, and charismatic? Excited to work with a diverse range of nationalities and cultures? If this describes you, EF Education First Cambridge invites you to embark on a summer of opening the world through education as a TEFL English Teacher!
EF Education First’s mission is opening the world through education.
A career with EF combines the support and opportunity of a large international organisation, with the spirit and energy of a small business. We look for thinkers and doers – creative, collaborative, and motivated people who are excited by education, communication, and travel.
When you join EF, you join a multicultural and diverse community working across more than 600 schools and offices in 50 countries. In the UK and Ireland, our core presence is felt at our international language campuses and summer schools, where we welcome students from around the world to participate in language learning and cultural exchange. Whoever you are, whatever you are passionate about—we welcome you and encourage you to open the world through education.
Your Role
Work with the support of a professional academic team and award-nominated materials to deliver the EF academic program to classroom groups of up to 17 language students. You will be planning lessons that create an inspiring, safe and supportive classroom environment where building your students’ confidence in using language is your primary concern.
Watching a classroom of different nationalities bond and their language flourish, is rewarding for experienced and novice teachers alike, which is what brings so many of our teachers back year on year. This role is a 4 week position running throughout July 2024, on a fixed term contract and with permanent opportunities available afterwards.
