Nomad Aviation AG is an international and family-owned Swiss company established in 2008. With headquarters in Zurich Kloten, Nomad Aviation AG provides private and business aircraft management services. Nomad Technics AG is based at Basel Airport and provides base maintenance, modifications and refurbishment services for mid-size jets and narrow-body aircraft.

To support our Finance and Human Resources activities for Nomad Technics at Basel Euroairport, we are looking for a qualified, flexible and dynamic

Your tasks:

  • You verify and record supplier invoices into our accounting ERP system (Abacus) and distribute them for approval based on the company’s policy
  • Preparing of payment proposals for approval and processing of payments
  • You review and reconcile invoice discrepancies and respond to requests/confirmations regarding payments to vendors
  • You support our billing by recording of invoices and follow up on payments with contact to our international customers around the globe
  • Perform monthly closing activities, such as preparing journal entries, making sure all invoices are well-recorded in compliance with all regulatory requirements, perform bank reconciliation and book accruals on revenue and cost side
  • In your versatile and dynamic role you also support the Nomad Technics team by holding responsibility for the HR Life Cycle: from recruitment, onboarding, development till employee leaving process as well as the Time Management

Your profile:

  • Basic commercial education and a minimum of 3 years experience in financial accounting
  • You are a Team Player with the ability to manage cross-functional and institutional relationships and you are multi-tasked in a dynamic and multicultural environment
  • You are used to work independently, reliably and accurately at all times with a self-driven and pro-active attitude and the attention to detail and quality
  • Proficiency with Abacus as ERP system and Microsoft Office applications
  • Spoken and written fluency in English and German
