Your contribution:

• Collaborate with and help lead a team of software engineers
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define software requirements, specifications, and project timelines for Pick and Place and Dispenser, as well as Management Software and Industry 4.0 environments.
• Take ownership of and develop new market-differentiating features for touch screen-based GUI for intuitive utilization.
• Plan, prioritize, and oversee the software development lifecycle from concept to release.
• Ensure software architecture is scalable, modular, and maintainable, deploying automated testing where useful.
• Participate in quality assurance processes to maintain high code quality, performance, and reliability.
• Support the continuous learning and professional development of the software team.

Your skills and talents:

• Proficiency in modern software development technologies and methods
  (C#, .Net, .Net Core, C++, Visual Studio is a plus).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
• German and English, both verbal and written.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (FH/ETH or equivalent).
• 10+ years of experience as a software engineer and project management of software development.
• Familiarity with automation and gantry systems or related industries in SMT/Semicon is a plus.
• Background in hands-on software development.
