For our Lugano Branch (TI) we are looking for a Project Manager (PM) with strong expertise in manageing legal and regulatory projects within the banking industry, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Establish and maintain robust project governance frameworks, methodologies, and standards tailored to the unique requirements of digital banking initiative
• Verify compliance with Swiss/European regulations
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, business leaders, and project teams, to ensure alignment, manage expectations, and foster effective communication
• Projects controlling (risk identification / issue tracking and management / reporting...)
• Preparation of dashboards for stakeholders on Plan / Resources / Budget

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the banking industry, with a focus on legal and regulatory projects
• Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks in the banking industry, particularly in relation to Basel 3.1/Basel IV and SWIFT Payments (ISO 20022 CBPR+)
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in engineering, economics or computer science
• Robust knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project)
• Project planning, controlling and monitoring capabilities
• Solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Fluency in English and Italian
• PMP or IPMA or PRINCE2 certifications will be considered as a plus
