Job description
Infosys is seeking for a Senior SharePoint Engineer to drive the strategic development, implementation, and support of hybrid SharePoint environments (Online and On-Premise). This leadership role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to guide a team in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing SharePoint solutions. Experience with migrations to SharePoint GCC High and adherence to ITIL processes is essential.
Required Qualifications:
• This position is based out of Melbourne FL; Rochester, NY; Clifton, NJ; Greenville, TX; Salt Lake City, UT. Ideal candidate should be willing to relocate to work from any of the above locations. Alternately candidate can work from any location within the USA. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to “U.S. persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees.
• Lead the design, development, and support of SharePoint Online and On-Premise platforms.
• Lead and oversee customizations of SharePoint sites, apps, and workflows.
• Manage and execute migration strategies from SharePoint On-Premise to SharePoint Online/GCC High.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client and Infosys management teams, ensuring alignment and transparency.
• Mentor junior engineers and analysts, fostering technical growth and best practices.
• Enforce ITIL-aligned operational standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide technical guidance, and lead resolution of complex issues.
• Hands on expereince on monitoring and reporting tools like SharePoint Admin Center, Power BI, and third-party solutions for usage analytics and health monitoring.
• At least 4 years of experience with:
SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016/2013/2010
InfoPath Forms, MS Flow, PowerApps
AngularJS, JavaScript, SPFx
SharePoint upgrades and migrations
Nintex workflows, PowerShell scripting
M365 workloads (Teams, OneDrive)
Migration tools (Sharegate, Metalogix, DocAve)
Technical SKills:
• Site Architecture & Governance: Designing scalable site structures and enforcing governance policies.
• Content Management: Managing document libraries, metadata, versioning, and retention
• Search Configuration: Optimizing search schema and indexing.
• Security & Compliance: Implementing access controls, auditing, and DLP policies.
• Performance Optimization: Monitoring and tuning SharePoint performance.
• Backup & Recovery: Defining and executing backup strategies.
Preferred Skills::
• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and client-facing engagements.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience in process automation and operational efficiency.

Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA/ WA / NY / CO / MD / IL / MN: $73,000 to $102,200
In Washington, DC:$ 66,100 to 100,200
