Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer with expertise in Cloud, DevOps, and automation technologies. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on modernizing our infrastructure with a cloud-first strategy, while ensuring seamless integration with traditional systems and platforms.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing hybrid cloud environments, automating infrastructure provisioning, and supporting both cloud and on-premises systems. You will contribute to building a secure, scalable, and resilient IT environment that aligns with our business goals and operational needs.

Your Key Tasks

• Automate infrastructure with IaC tools: Use Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform to automate provisioning and management of compute and cloud resources
• Cloud and DevOps integration: Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate cloud platforms—especially Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)—with existing systems for seamless operations
• On-call support for critical issues: Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot and resolve high-priority system and cloud-related issues
• Ensure security and compliance: Implement and maintain security protocols across cloud and traditional systems, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Automation and IaC Proficiency: Proven experience in automating virtual infrastructure using Terraform or similar tools
• Hybrid cloud experience: Strong background in managing hybrid environments that combine cloud platforms and traditional on-premises systems
• Strong communication and documentation skills: Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

It would be a real bonus if you have

• VMware certifications, such as:

VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV)

VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP)

VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX)

• Microsoft Windows certifications, such as:

Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800, AZ-801)

Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)

• DevOps knowledge: Experience working closely with DevOps teams to deploy and manage cloud-native and hybrid environments
