Join our team in Siemens Digital Industries Software as a Manager Accounting Integration and play a pivotal role in the integration of newly acquired businesses into the Siemens world by implementing our global accounting standards & processes and delivering valuable insights to our management team. You will take ownership for the accounting integration of newly acquired businesses in the EMEA region as part a multi-disciplinary team from both the business as well as corporate functions.

This position is part of the Accounting Integration team and reports to the Director of Accounting Integration. We are a dynamic and collaborative accounting organization of 250+ colleagues that thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.

What role will you play?

• Our business is continually growing and evolving through Mergers & Acquisitions. You will use your accounting and finance expertise to manage the global integration of newly acquired businesses including full consolidation, purchase price allocation and policy alignment.
• You will be the first point of contact for all accounting topics in the integration project and a trusted partner that works in a dynamic multi-disciplinary team including finance, reporting, tax, transfer pricing, legal entity reporting, legal, and many more.
• Partner with Accounting hubs or central teams to handover tasks and provide transparency on the project after the integration activities come to an end.
• You will be a sparrings partner for our valuation expert on valuations of our Siemens Industry Software entities.
• We are looking for someone with a passion for technology who can support with the deployment of our SAP ERP system and other finance & reporting tools.
• You will oversee the overall project success by focusing on the big picture, while also diving deep into day-to-day accounting & closing activities.

• Have a minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience in a similar role, preferably a mix of tech companies and public accounting.
• Display strong accounting knowledge, strong analytical skills, business judgment and excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrate strong project management expertise paired with self-determination and strategic judgment.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets, translate insights into clear action points, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders across cultures and geographies.
• Showcase strong communication and presentation skills.
• Have advanced experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP.
• Have experience with DCF valuations is a plus.
