The Service Center E&I is the first point of entrepreneurship, innovation and transfer at the University of St.Gallen. Our aim is to support students, alumni and researchers on their entrepreneurial path, in-dependently which level they reached so far (Idea, Prototype, ready for market). With our Programs, we offer support across all phases from ideation to incubation and scaling.
Your tasks
- Organize and lead the transfer activities to support the transfer strategy
- Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of the HSG Spin-Off process, including the evaluation of applications and support of startup initiatives in close collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and execute communication and marketing activities that highlight the university's transfer achievements, startups, and spin-offs
- Provide tailored coaching and advisory services to entrepreneurial students, alumni, and university affiliates
- Support HSG entrepreneurs on topics related to Intellectual Property (IP), IP transfer, and technology commercialization, in close collaboration with relevant departments and external experts
- Contribute to selected projects aimed at strengthening HSG's innovation and transfer ecosystem, especially in the areas of startup development, spin-offs, and strategic partnerships

Your profile
- University degree in business, engineering, innovation management or a related field – ideally with a focus on technology transfer, entrepreneurship or intellectual property (IP)
- Several years (typically 3–6 years) of professional experience in the fields of innovation, startup support, knowledge or technology transfer, or IP management
- Strong command of both German and English (written and spoken)
- A professional and confident presence, with a high level of initiative, motivation, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
- A strong interest in entrepreneurship, spin-offs and university-industry collaboration, with a hands-on mindset and solution orientation
