As we scale AI-enabled Design-to-Source Intelligence (DSI), we are investing in a new class of consultant — one who can bridge business transformation, engineering reality, and commercial execution.
The Principal of Transformation & Value Consulting is a senior, customer-facing, player-coach role within Solutions Consulting. This individual will lead complex Proof of Value Assessments (PoVA) processes that shape customer decisions, drive quota attainment, and establish long-term customer value — while also teaching, scaling, and institutionalizing modern change management and process engineering practices across the presales organization.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives equally in executive conversations and hands-on workshops, who understands how AI and digital platforms change decision-making, and who believes that value is only real when it is measurable, adopted, and sustained.
Customer Transformation & Proof of Value Leadership
- Lead high-impact customer Proof of Value Assessments (PoVA) that connect Supplyframe capabilities to customer business objectives, operating models, and measurable outcomes
- Diagnose customer processes across engineering, sourcing, supply chain, and operations to identify value leakage, decision friction, and risk exposure
- Design future-state workflows enabled by DSI, AI-driven insights, and digital decision support
- Facilitate change at multiple organizational levels, from executives to practitioners, ensuring alignment, adoption, and accountability
- Develop financially rigorous business cases including ROI, NPV, payback period, and value realization milestones
- Serve as a trusted advisor in complex sales cycles, influencing buying decisions through clarity, credibility, and quantified impact
Change Management & Process Engineering Excellence
- Apply structured change management principles to ensure customer transformations are adopted, not just agreed to
- Map and optimize customer processes using techniques such as:
- Value stream mapping
- Process decomposition
- Decision-rights analysis
- Translate abstract transformation goals into practical, executable change plans
- Balance strategic vision with engineering and operational constraints to maintain credibility
Internal Capability Building & PoVA Platform Ownership
- Act as a player-coach, mentoring Solutions Consultants on:
- Change leadership
- Process mapping
- Value storytelling
- Business case construction
- Own the evolution of Supplyframe’s digitized PoVA platform, including:
- Standardized methodologies
- Templates and artifacts
- AI-assisted analysis and insight generation
- Performance analytics and continuous improvement
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to ensure PoVA outputs drive:
- Sales success
- Successful onboarding
- Long-term customer value realization
- Institutionalize best practices so PoVA delivery becomes repeatable, scalable, and measurable
Commercial Impact & SaaS Value Realization
- Support quota attainment by enabling:
- Larger, more strategic deal motions
- Stronger executive alignment
- Reduced deal risk through clarity of value
- Ensure PoVAs connect pre-sale commitments to post-sale adoption and expansion
- Help define success metrics that extend beyond close into customer lifetime value
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree+ in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in roles spanning business transformation, process improvement, or digital consulting
- Proven experience building financially quantified business cases
- Strong understanding of SaaS, enterprise platforms, and AI-enabled decision systems
- Demonstrated ability to influence across:
- Executives
- Functional leaders
- Practitioners

The pay range for this position is $167,200 - $334,400 annually with a target incentive of 30% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
