Traitement : classe 08/04 à 08/12 à 100% de CHF 68’357.- à CHF 81’246.- brut annuel, sous réserve d’un blocage temporaire de la progression par décision du Conseil d’Etat.

The Global Studies Institute (GSI) is an interfaculty Institute at the University of Geneva that combines the traditions of regional and international studies with developments in global governance. Additional Information :
The successful candidate will be appointed on a two-year fixed-term contract, which may be renewed for two successive periods, of two years and one year respectively. The maximum duration of employment as a doctoral assistant is five years. The first year constitutes a probationary period, during which the employment relationship may be terminated subject to a three-months notice period to the end of a month.
Salary : pay scale classes 08/04 to 08/12 (100%), corresponding to a gross annuel salary between CHF 68’357 and CHF 81’246, subject to a possible temporary freeze of salary progression by decision of the State Council.

Le GSI et la Faculté de droit (50%-50%) mettent au concours un poste d’assistant-e doctorant-e sous la direction de la Professeure Stéphanie Dagron .Le Global Studies Institute est un Centre interfacultaire de l’Université de Genève alliant la tradition des études régionales et internationales et les développements de la gouvernance globale. Le cahier des charges comprend :
- L’assistance de la Professeure Dagron dans la préparation de ses enseignements (niveau bachelor et master), l’encadrement des étudiant-es (juristes et non juristes), la surveillance et la correction des examens
- L’assistance de la Professeure Dagron dans sa recherche (préparation de publications et de conférences, soutien à l’organisation d’évènements)
- La participation à la vie des structures de rattachement (GSI et Faculté de droit) : activités scientifiques (conférences, workshops, etc.) en particulier les activités des doctorant-es (séminaires, ateliers, journées d’études)
- La recherche personnelle : préparation d’une thèse de doctorat et/ou d’autres publications scientifiques

Titre et compétences exigés
- Etre en possession d’ici juillet 2026 d’un diplôme de Master reconnu par l’Université de Genève en droit (avec spécialisation en droit public, droit international et/ou droit européen) avec une très bonne moyenne générale
- Présenter des compétences avérées pour la recherche et la rédaction scientifiques.
Autres conditions d’engagement :
- Disposer d’un haut degré d’autonomie pour mener à terme un projet de recherche exigeant
- Etre apte à s’intégrer dans une équipe interdisciplinaire
- Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais (compétences orales et écrites)
- La maîtrise de l’allemand est un atout

Le-la candidat-e sera engagé-e sur un contrat de deux ans qui pourra être renouvelé pour deux périodes successives, respectivement de deux ans et un an. La durée maximale de la fonction d’assistant-e est de cinq ans. - Providing research assistance and support to Prof. Dagron for her research activities (conferences, publications, support in organizing events)
- Participation in the life of the host institutions (GSI and the Faculty of Law) : scientific activities (conferences, workshops, etc.), with a particular focus on doctoral activities (seminars, workshops, study days)
- Personnal research : preparation of a doctoral thesis and/or other academic publications.

- Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy in successfully conducting a demanding research project
- Be able to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
- Proficiency in French and English (oral and written)
