Your Role
We are seeking an Athletics & Sports Coordinator (100%) to join our school from August 2026.
The Athletics & Sports Coordinator leads the design, delivery, and development of a vibrant whole-school athletics and sports programme. This role supports students from Early Years to Grade 12, fostering a culture of participation, excellence, and sportsmanship across all divisions.
Working closely with the Director of Student Life, the Coordinator ensures that athletics and sports activities are inclusive, safe, and inspiring, while building strong connections between students, coaches, and the wider community.
The role also involves coordinating Swiss national and international tournaments (SCIS, SGIS, ISSL) representing ICS, and developing pathways for students to engage in healthy, competitive, and recreational sport.
What makes you our ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Recognised teaching qualification and experience in school-based athletics or sports leadership, in an international school environment ideally.
- Proven ability to design, coordinate, and lead multi-sport programmes across school divisions.
- Experience organising national or international school tournaments (SCIS, SGIS, ISSL).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to student wellbeing, inclusion, and holistic development.
- Fluency in English required; German an advantage.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during sports seasons.
