Our game changing technology is making big strides to increase revenue, reduce waste and automate quality control for our industry leading customers.
To support our growing client and project base, we are looking to expand our team in Spreitenbach.
At SpectraFlow Analytics, as a project engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning of our online analyzer solutions with the associated control software for a global customer base in the cement and mining industry. The relationship with our clients extends beyond the initial commissioning phase, encompassing ongoing support, addressing client inquiries and concerns, evaluating performance, and identifying the necessary services or components.
Therefore, the ideal candidate will possess a confident and independent demeanor when engaging with customers, along with strong technical skills, which are prerequisites for the position.
What to expect from the job:
Commission of our NIR online analyzers on site in coordination with the client’s team
Commission expert systems to control the process
Act as first point of contact for your assigned clients to train and support them in the use of the analyzer and in case of service requests
Collection and clarification of reference samples for calibration
Conduct of acceptance tests
Be an active and solution-oriented part in project management
Support our After Sales Team to proactively get, review and drive customer satisfaction
What you should bring:
At least 5 years as a process engineer in cement or mining on the plant
Multiple years of experience in commissioning analytical systems at clients’ sites
Experience in programming PLCs and connecting them to control systems using OPC/fieldbus
Experience working in Windows and Linux based embedded systems
Experience with near-infrared real-time measurement systems
Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Electrical Engineering or similar
Experience in working with advanced process control software
Enjoying international travel to remote sites
A structured and organized work ethic with a proven ability to manage and document action-orientated tasks effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex topics to diverse internal and external stakeholders
A proactive and results-oriented approach, capable of motivating teams and driving project success
Fluent in English and one other language (written and spoken)
