We’re always looking towards the future, anticipating changes in medical science and technology.</p><h1></h1><p><b>The Opportunity</b></p><p>In this role you are responsible for managing and expanding molecular activities for assigned customers in the defined country territory. The role includes acting as a Advisor/consultant to customers. Account Manager is responsible for retention & value expansion with assigned Abbott existing but also new possible accounts.</p><p></p><p><b>Your Tasks:</b></p><ul><li>New business acquisition</li><li>Renewals of expiring contracts or new tender issued by existing customers as well price negotiations ensuring customers having the right prices</li><li>Establish value propositions and build business cases</li><li>Post‐sale involvement with customers</li><li>Develop broad relationships with key molecular lab stakeholders including the decision making units as well clinicians and purchasing departments</li><li>Serve customer’s requests and forward them to respective Service department on technical and applicational questions</li><li>Become advisor/consultant to customer on lab productivity, use and/or design</li><li>Working actively in CRM system keeping the customer data up to date, reporting in activities and market data</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Your Qualification:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor or Master degree in Biology or equivalent</li><li>Experience from IVD laboratory diagnostics business</li><li>Experience from sales preferrable but not mandatory if having a strong experience from the molecular diagnostic field</li><li>Experience from molecular laboratory field mandatory</li><li>Strong experience maintaining and developing customer relationships</li><li>Fluent in English and German or French</li></ul><p></p><p>Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.</p><p></p><p>Connect with us at <a href="http://www.abbott.com/" target="_blank"><u>www.abbott.com</u></a>, on LinkedIn at <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/abbott-/" target="_blank"><u>https://www.linkedin.com/company/abbott-</u></a></p>
