Position Summary
Our Cabinet Shop creates lightweight furniture that is as functional as it is beautiful. Our staff has been highly trained in the fine arts of woodworking and Veneering and has the advanced skills to do work such as hardwood mouldings, inlays, exotic veneer applications and many other complex furniture designs. It is important to us that the details of your work are exactly the way our customers want them. To achieve that high level of customization and quality, we do much of the work by hand. You will work in our State-of-the-Art Cabinet Shop and start manufacturing furniture from the 3D model to the final exquisite Cabinet.
Your mission
• Operate cutting machines according to provided programs, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and 2D/3D engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with the programming office to maintain and improve cutting methods
• Optimize safety, quality, detail, and productivity.
• Perform complex repairs and modifications on leather, foam, and other equivalent material parts.
• Actively collaborate within the upholstery team, leveraging experience to enhance quality workmanship techniques.
• Assist in the fabrication of prototypes, templates, and mock-ups according to engineering sketches.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects, supporting senior technicians in developing and implementing new processes.
• Responsible for the quality of own work and timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Work with the supervisor to develop and implement technical process improvements that enhance safety, reduce costs, and decrease cycle time while promoting performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in monthly EH&S and 5S audits.
• Perform installations under supervision as required.
• Demonstrate the ability to learn other disciplines and skills.

Your profile
• Cabinet maker apprenticeship or equivalent education
• Reached cabinet CNC& Machines Operator 1 Level and some of CNC & Machines Operator 2
• Ability to work and stay calm under pressure
• Personal drive and self-motivated
• Highly flexible
• Always happy to support and collaborate with others
• Computer skills in Microsoft applications
• Software skills Smarteam, Catia V5 (viewer), Fanuk language
• Fluent in English, German and/or French
