We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join the Tech & Cyber Risk Management unit of the Pictet Tech division in Geneva. Our Cybersecurity Engineering team focuses on safeguarding digital assets through detection engineering, incident response and automation. You’ll enable the team through robust engineering practices and contribute to operational and engineering activities that enhance our cyber capabilities.
Your role
Manage and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure, including solutions such as Puppet, to ensure operational efficiency and scalability.
Develop and test use cases to validate the effectiveness and reliability of cybersecurity tools and processes.
Define and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cybersecurity operations and engineering workflows.
Support the Cybersecurity Operations team by maintaining and configuring SIEM technologies, ensuring optimal performance and usability for threat detection and response.
Enhance network detection technologies and ensure their integration into the broader cybersecurity ecosystem.
Participate in projects to improve cybersecurity capabilities, providing engineering expertise and ensuring alignment with organizational security requirements.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of cybersecurity documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders.
Your profile
5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, with a strong focus on detection engineering and infrastructure management.
Proficient in managing and automating infrastructure using tools such as Puppet, Ansible or equivalent.
Experience with network detection technologies and their integration into security operations.
Experience with scripting languages (Python, Java, Bash or equivalent) and CI/CD.
Strong knowledge of SIEM technologies, including configuration, maintenance and optimization.
Proven ability to define, document and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in a structured and clear manner.
Fluent in French and English.
Swiss residency or willing to relocate.
