Accountant / Finance Specialist 80-100%

They fly WingtraOne for more than a thousand hours on a monthly basis. This is only the beginning—together we can achieve much more.

This fast growth requires solid financial planning, controlling and management. That’s where you come in. You'll join and help further building up the finance team covering all aspects of finance, compliance, legal affairs, insurance, office management, administration, and more. According to your seniority/proficiency you will lead, support, co-manage or own the following tasks:

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes  and coordinate with external accountants (in CH and USA).
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, and provide supporting documents to external accountants for bank transactions.
• Review and approve expenses in Remote, AbaClick, Expensify, and Revolut in accordance with our company expense policies.
• Prepare monthly Credit Card reconciliation and related entries.
• Check and approve payments in our e-banking and perform the liquidity check.
• Prepare and approve intercompany invoices and ensure correct IC balances.
• Submit VAT reports and prepare our R&D cost activation sheet.
• Support Sales teams with mapping and closing deals in HubSpot, issuing sales invoices, and clearing shipments.
• Perform HubSpot month-end closing and prepare our monthly KPI file.
• Optimize finance processes and participate in continuous improvement of accounting procedures by utilizing ERP tools (e.g., Odoo, Revolut, Payhawk...).

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 2 years experience in accounting or Finance, ideally in a scale-up or technology company
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting and finance principles
• Proficiency with accounting softwares (ERP experience preferred)
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Proficiency in or willingness to learn to work with complex spreadsheets
• Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus
