Information Security Officer - Cloud

As our Cloud Information Security Officer, you will take on a key role at the intersection of governance and implementation. You will ensure that our cloud platforms and services not only comply with the highest standards in security, data protection, and compliance – but are secure by design. You will be the go-to person for all security-related topics within our Cloud Value Stream, empowering our teams to innovate securely and confidently.

Information Security Officer - Cloud (80-100% - all identities and backgrounds)

Your main tasks are

• Develop and maintain a cloud-specific security framework aligned with internal policies and ISO 27001
• Ensure security-by-design and default principles across all cloud services and platforms (e.g., OpenStack, Kubernetes, S3)
• Identify risks, perform security assessments, and define mitigation strategies for infrastructure and services
• Integrate security into DevOps workflows through collaboration with engineering, architecture, and product teams
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements (GDPR, ISO 27001, Swiss data laws) and coordinate audits and penetration tests
• Maintain security documentation (e.g., risk registers, incident response plans) and provide internal training and onboarding support
• Support incident response efforts and represent the cloud domain in organisation-wide security and compliance boards
• Drive continuous improvement of cloud security architecture and tools (e.g., IAM, SIEM, encryption)

What you bring

Nice to Have

• Proven experience in information security, ideally with a focus on cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of best practices for platforms such as OpenStack, Kubernetes, Ceph, and object storage
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks, and Swiss regulatory standards
• Solid understanding of IAM, encryption, network security, and secure development practices
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical topics for non-technical audiences
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)
• Background in system architecture or software engineering
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD security, and cloud-native security tools (e.g., Vault, OPA, Falco)
