What Success Looks Like in This Role
To excel at Unit8, you will move beyond simple transactions to become a strategic architect of our expansion. You will achieve success by:
- You will master Unit8’s DNA and know the company well, deeply internalizing our mission and technical capabilities to represent Unit8 with authenticity and authority in the Swiss market.
- You won't just follow a plan; you will actively execute and refine our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, identifying the right levers to pull to win new enterprise clients and high-impact projects.
- You will be contributing to the broader tech community by representing Unit8 at industry conferences, workshops, and networking events.
- You will bridge the gap between sales and execution, partnering with our delivery teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term customer success.
What You’ll Do
As a Data & AI Client Partner within the Growth team you will:
- End to end responsibility for customer acquisition from lead generation to deal signature (you will be assigned yearly sales quota).
- Actively execute on Unit8’s GTM to the Swiss customers to win new customers and projects (quota carrying role)
- Consult our prospects and new clients on their challenges and needs related to Data & AI.
- Contribute to broader business development by preparing and participating in industry conferences, communities, workshops and events.
- Help our customers leverage Data & AI (including GenAI) technology advancements by identifying the customers needs and translating them into value add solutions.
Who You Are
We are looking for a dynamic Client Partner (Business Development Manager) who doesn't just manage a pipeline but actively acquires new clients to shape the future of our company. You’ll be a perfect fit at Unit8 if:
- You have a strong track record (5-8 years) in IT consulting or services, with at least 3-5 years specifically focused on sales and business development.
- You are self-driven with a natural "can-do" attitude. As a fast learner, you don't just react to challenges—you anticipate them and navigate them with independence.
- You are comfortable translating complex tech into business value. You have experience advising clients on the strategic impact of Data & AI.
- You have the drive for sales required to thrive in a high-growth, fast-moving environment. You are highly organized and motivated to be the face of Unit8 in the market.
- You are a great communicator and speak fluently both English and French (mandatory). If you speak German, that’s a fantastic bonus for our reach across the DACH region.
- You are willing to travel up to 25% of the time to meet our partners and clients across Switzerland and beyond.
