The Nautilus product team builds and operates Galaxus’ product search, delivering millions of search results each day and helping customers find the perfect products. As we continue to productionize more ML-driven features, we’re doubling down on leveraging advanced models to enhance search quality, relevance, and overall user experience.
Team Enso is responsible for processes for goods receiving within logistics. There is a lot of potential for automation (with the help of ML and possibly computer vision). In addition, you should also be able to work hands-on with our backend code.

- You’re part of a Software Engineering Scrum team.
- You take the lead in our team for the further improvement of our ML models, as well as ensuring the models run reliably in production.
- You’re a product-minded engineer with the ability to identify new opportunities to raise the automation rate with ML solutions.
- You’re eager to coach a team of software engineers curious to learn more about ML and actively share your knowledge.

- Beyond ML, you’ll take an active role in software engineering work—from building and evolving APIs to ensuring our infrastructure runs reliably.
Your skills
- Degree in computer science or data science (ETH/UNI/FH) or equivalent professional experience
- You have professional experience as a software engineer in .NET / C# and Python.
- You’ve had hands-on experience with ML libraries (PyTorch, NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, transformers, etc.) and you’ve shipped several models to production.
- Experience with MLOps practices and tools (MLflow, DVC, W&B, Airflow) along with cloud/infrastructure technologies such as GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
- Openness, curiosity and initiative are what set you apart. You use your creativity to solve problems and achieve goals. As a team player, you contribute proactively to the team with empathy and a willingness to experiment.
