Join a high-performing photolithography team where your expertise truly makes an impact. As a Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and continuous improvement of cutting-edge lithography equipment that keeps our production line running. This is your opportunity to shape technical decisions, contribute to long-term tool strategies, and drive meaningful improvements in stability, uptime, and process performance.
Our High Voltage Products division is a worldwide specialist in power transmission and distribution. Our Service Unit supports customers around the globe with Generator Circuit Breaker systems (GCB) and gas-insulated switchgear (GIS). From training and commissioning to maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and replacements - we ensure critical power infrastructure works reliably, safely, and efficiently.
Service is at the heart of everything we do. As part of our international service team, you-ll take on varied, hands-on work and become a recognized product expert. After comprehensive, practical training in Switzerland, you-ll travel the world to commission and maintain GCB systems - all while working in a dynamic, multicultural environment. This is a role with real impact, technical depth, and plenty of room to grow.
How you-ll make an impact
- Lead multicultural service projects for GCB on power plants from 20 MW to 1600 MW worldwide
- Ensure smooth and timely execution of installation and maintenance work on site
- Perform the final quality check and guarantee that all work meets our high standards
- Deliver product training directly to customers at their facilities
- Identify risks proactively and implement effective mitigation measures
- Coordinate on-site teams and give practical, clear instructions
- Manage resource and provide regular reporting to project management
- Drive process improvements and implement efficiency-boosting initiatives on site
Your background
- Completed apprenticeship in metalwork, electrical engineering, or automotive technology
- Solid electrical knowledge (essential); further education such as a technician diploma is a plus
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience; experience in site leadership is an advantage
- Good English skills (B2 or above); German is a plus
- High willingness to travel - up to 80 % worldwide
- Flexible, resilient, and communicative team player who enjoys solving problems pragmatically and values high safety and quality standards
