Systems Software Engineer

Embotech is an award-winning software scale-up developing cutting edge autonomous driving technology and solutions for autonomous vehicles, with focus on private ground logistics applications such as trucks at port terminals and finished vehicle logistics in car factories. We are delivering safe autonomous transportation by leveraging the real-time optimization technology that we have been developing since 2012. We are looking for a software engineer with a system view who is passionate about getting real systems to work reliably at scale. You will join the Autonomous Terminal Tractor (ATT) Systems team to play a key role in deploying a rapidly growing fleet of autonomous trucks for private grounds, using Embotech's autonomous driving software and hardware components from external suppliers. Your role will involve software development and integration and system testing on test setups and on our vehicles.

Responsibilities
Requirements

Prototyping software development and

MSc in robotics, mechatronics, mechanical or requirements definition. electrical engineering, CS or similar.

Contributing to system definition,

At least 3 years of relevant working experience. configuration and verification through

Experience with real-world robotics simulation and real-world testing deployments.

Software integration and integration testing

Proficient with C/C++ and Python. using simulation and real vehicles.

- Experience with any of the following is a plus:

Development of HIL and SIL testing methods o Robotics algorithms and communication and test automation. protocols.

Log data analysis and on-site problem solving. o Mechanical and electrical design.

Cooperation with software engineers, safety o Networking and Linux development. engineers and controls engineers to deliver a
