Due to significant commercial growth in this sector, WSP is seeking to enhance the expertise of our Finance department. We are currently looking for a Financial Controller,based in Zurich.

YOUR NEW ROLE, WHAT'S INVOLVED ?
As part of a dynamic team based in Lausanne and Zurich, you will assist the Finance Director in guiding and monitoring budgetary policy. You will be based in our Zurich office.

Your core activities include:

• Collaborate in close partnership with the heads of the business units, and in particular with the team of controllers, you will:
• Analyze and present reports
• Manage the budget process with your internal clients
• Monitor and analyse the economic and financial data for the units and projects
• You will also be responsible for proposing and following up any corrective action that may need to be taken
• You will also implement analytical tools to support the Finance Director in its decision-making

WHAT IF IT WAS YOU?

You are driven to put your financial knowledge into a fast-growing engineering and consultancy firm. You are not only focused on the financial part but also eager to understand the business itself. Your analytic and critical mindset with a hands-on mentality, makes sure that we are continuously improving efficiency in financial processes.

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of finance, preferably in Accountancy/Controlling, with several years of relevant working experience in a similar role (ideally in a project focused organisation). You will have recognized expertise in budgeting and complex financial operations, with particular emphasis on reporting and financial analysis.

• Excellent knowledge of modelling in Excel and reporting tools (such as: Lucanet, Power BI etc.). A tech savvy attitude, with the willingness to develop this area further
• Experience in a medium to large international (project) organization, knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and IFRS is a plus
• Fluent in Swiss German or German and professional English, with a working knowledge of French preferred
