IAAS Product Group Manager (f/m/d)

The opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IaaS Product Group Manager to join our IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the service delivery of both cloud services and on-prem hosting services. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of infrastructure as service (IaaS) technologies.

How you’ll make an impact

• Oversee the delivery of cloud services and on-prem hosting services to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance. Managing the infrastructure lifecycle, including planning, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning of cloud and on-prem hosting services

• Develop and implement service delivery strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs

• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals

• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages continuous improvement and professional development

• Manage the infrastructure lifecycle, including planning, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning of cloud and on-prem hosting services

• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to optimize costs and service delivery

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment with business goals

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency

Your background

• Proven experience in managing cloud and on-premises hosting environments

• Strong project management skills

• In-depth knowledge of IaaS solutions and cloud technologies

• Excellent leadership and communication skills necessary to engage with stakeholders, Hubs and cross functional teams

• Supervisory and management experience with direct reports and geographically distributed teams

• Analytical thinking, strategic vision paired with costumer focus

• Experience working in large global multi-national organizations
