myLife Diabetes Care AG is a new, independent Medtech company specialising in the treatment of diabetes using advanced insulin pump systems. For our Product Development Department, we are looking for an experienced Technical Lead Orbit & Consumables at our new Headquarter in Burgdorf.

Your main tasks

Active contribution to Product care and a Key role in Product development as the technical lead for the Orbit & Consumables portfolio

Technical support of product development project team

Independent leadership and execution of development projects in compliance with internal specifications and the current state of the art

Supporting key stakeholders through the delivery of detailed product specifications and the execution of required design verification activities

Creating of product-related and technical file documentation in accordance with applicable regulatory and quality requirements

Your profile

Basic education with technical and scientific background

Degree (for CH: HF; FH) or university

At least 3 years of professional experience in precision engineering or plastics technology

Proven experience in medical device development.

Several years of experience in planning, organizing and executing projects

Good CAD skills and experience in design verification as well as in conducting material evaluations

Strong problem solving abilities and willingness to take responsibility for smaller development projects

Very good German and English skills (German at least B2) for communication within the team, with customers, and for preparing technical reports

Team player with initiative and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic environment
