Our client is a fast-growing fintech scale-up headquartered in Zürich, focused on building the infrastructure behind modern trading platforms. Reporting to the CTO, the role sits within a distributed engineering team across EU time zones, with the option of hybrid work from their centrally located Zürich office.
You will:
Design and implement robust full-stack applications using Node.js, React, and NestJS
Lead backend service development with TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Kafka
Collaborate on architectural decisions for microservices and event-driven systems
Contribute to DevOps workflows using Docker, CI/CD, and container orchestration tools
Support API design and documentation aligned with OpenAPI standards
You bring:
5+ years of full-stack development experience, with a backend focus
Deep knowledge of TypeScript, React, NestJS, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Redis
Excellent communication skills in English
Educational background in STEM, or equivalent certifications
