Aufgaben

Testing Laboratory Quality Engineer
As part of Leonardo, Kopter currently develops the AW09, a next generation single-engine helicopter that offers the largest cabin and cargo hold in its category, increased modularity and modern electronic systems. The AW09 delivers latest safety standards as well as more performance and comfort at low operating costs.
Kopter is set to become Leonardo’s Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies, contributing to the development of hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. Kopter’s 320 talented team members are primarily based in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).
Your responsibilities
The objective of this position is to define, maintain and continuously improve Kopter’s Testing Laboratory’s Quality Standards.
Main responsibilities:
►Ensure:
■compliance with company processes and managing their continuous improvement
■compliance with EASA and related regulations
■on-time and on-quality conformity documentation prior certification test start
■compliance with legal and environmental requirements, particularly SUVA (occupational safety) and aviation requirements
■an ongoing assessment of risks and definition of appropriate measures ►Define, maintain and improve internal quality and supplier quality requirements (manufacturers, testing laboratories)
►Liaise with Supplier Quality Assurance function to evaluate and participate in supplier audits
►Support:
■department processes definition and validation
■corrective actions definition in case of non-compliance with applicable requirements
■corrective actions definition with regards to internal and external audits performed
Your qualification & experience
►University degree preferably in Engineering
►Minimum five years of relevant professional experience in a quality function preferably in aerospace
►Good knowledge about quality management systems
►Common knowledge about certification process in aviation
►Common knowledge about component test requirements and processes
►Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-national team
►Intercultural competency (effectively works with diverse other suppliers/customers)
►English: C1 level (verbal & written)
