Your role
As a Senior Consultant, you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in; you will define the problem, propose and refine the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Qualifications:
- Handling all Cluster and no cluster migration of MQ
- Production Management for MQ
- Deep-diving into complex troubleshoots, implementing changes, and serving as an escalation point for the Level 2 teams.
- Creating and maintaining best practices / policies and ensuring that they are followed.
- Work with External vendors and internal Project Managers to develop the execution for changes.
- Participate in the weekly Review meetings and actively engage with various engineering teams to review the infrastructure.
- Proactively monitoring MQ related software and to take action to prevent potential issues and to maximize performance
- Setting up SSL certificates for WMQ Channels
- Supporting MQ Server/Client Installation, MQ Qmanager/Queue/Object build outs, Documentation Creations.
Personal
- Expert level experience with IBM MQ
- A proven track record in migration of MQ
- Good knowledge on JVM
- Demonstrated knowledge of product upgrades and maintaining installations on multiple platforms and operating systems
- Good knowledge of UNIX
- Strong team spirit and relationship management skills, customer focused
- Strong understanding of ITIL
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and high pressure situations for outage handling, management or resolution
- Willingness to take ownership and accountability to execute and deliver on goals; strong commitment to high quality standards.
