THE POSITION

These are your key tasks:
  • Tournament specific responsibilities related to all the World Cups organised by FIFA.
  • Competition Regulations support in administration and production. 
  • Participating in the delivery of Technical Draws.
  • Organising Pre-tournament workshops and briefings.
  • Set-up and content gathering of Competition Management tournament environment including reporting tool, MS Teams Channel, guidelines and checklists.
  • Team Material and Match Operation equipment planning and procurement.
  • Closely monitoring various venue and stadium infrastructure requirements.
  • Contributing to the post event de-briefing and knowledge transfer. 
  • Participating in the planning and delivery of the annual FIFA Match Director workshop.
  • Administration of Competition Officials Pool.
  • Supporting the preparation of FIFA Committee Meetings.
  • Working on various projects within Competition Management.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
  • Good organisational skills and high-quality standards with attention to details
  • Experience of a minimum of 2 years in project management in an international environment (ideally football-related) 
  • Specific football and match operations related experience at major events, e.g. FIFA World Cup is an asset
  • Knowledge of event planning - any event project management process is an asset
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Open-minded and solution-oriented
  • Trustworthy 
  • Flexible, adaptable, reliable 
  • Team player 
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or French desirable
  • Proficiency in any other language is an asset
