As part of the launch of a flagship brand project for our Group, we are looking for an Intern to join our Communications team in Geneva, contributing to significant projects, enhancing their skills in digital communications and project management, while also building a professional network in the financial industry. This 4 to 6 month internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic Communications department within the Private Banking sector.

  • Project Involvement: play a key role in the delivery of a major communication and brand project
  • Social Media Management: suggest and execute creative ideas for enhancing the bank’s presence on various social media platforms
  • Content Creation: write and proofread copy for articles, blogs, social media posts, and internal communications
  • Develop and maintain a photo library for the press office
  • Update and maintain the biographies and corporate photos of bank spokespersons
  • Team Support: provide comprehensive support to the Communications team, assisting in day-to-day operations and special projects as needed

Education & Professional experience

  • Degree in Communications or Journalism
  • Previous experience as intern or involvement in communication or social media roles

Professional & Personal competencies:

  • Strong ability to organise, prioritise, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent writing skills and capability in crafting engaging and clear copy for various formats such as articles, blogs, and social media posts
  • Innovative thinker with a flair for creating engaging social media content
  • Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in digital communications demonstrated through experience in social media management, website content, and/or intranet handling. Familiarity with digital tools such as Drupal, HubSpot, LinkedIn, Instagram, and SharePoint
  • Quick to learn new skills and adapt to new situation
  • Excellent presentation with a strong service orientation
  • Problem-solving orientation with the ability to initiate projects independently
  • Team player and collaborative attitude

Language requirements:

  • Native or proficient English speaker. French and German are an advantage.

IT Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
