Who you are

As a Co-worker Communication Leader, you will be responsible for the market Co-worker communication strategy. You will contribute to the purpose of the function by leading, steering and ensuring the implementation of the strategy for Co-worker communication - in line with the IKEA values.
To do so:
• You have a higher education (BA/MA) or further education in Communications.
• You have a minimum of 6 years of internal communication experience and/or public relations.
• You have the ability to inspire people verbally, visually and in writing.
• You have strong communication skills (spoken and written) in English and in German. Preferably you also speak the other official Swiss languages (French, Italian).
• You have a passion for communicating in multiple languages.
• You have experience in leading, planning and developing strategic internal communication activities that create engagement and identity.
• You have experience with crisis and change communication.
• You have experience in leading agencies.
• You have a great interest in and knowledge of the topic of sustainability and want to help make a sustainable life possible for the many people.
• You have a passion for home furnishings and IKEA products.
• You enjoy planning and executing an event.
• You are a creative, independent and reliable person who likes to work in a team.
• You are proactive, solution-oriented, quick-thinking and motivated.
• You are self-confident and you communicate confidently and at eye level with internal stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

• Developing, leading and implementing the country co-worker communication strategy and securing the communication process by defining, planning, executing and following up in line with the global communication strategy.
• Being responsible for the development and delivery of the market Co-worker communication agenda, content and channels.
• Implementing global standards and guidelines on Co-worker communication and making it market relevant.
• Being a direct contact and support for communication needs and advising/coaching on effective communication.
• Being a coach and sparring partner to managers when it comes to co-worker’s communication.
