Introduction

Considered as one of the most traditional and oldest luxury hotel in Gstaad, LE GRAND BELLEVUE combines the luxury and the sophistication of a grand hotel with the charming atmosphere of a cozy country house.

We are looking forward welcoming a new team member for the position :

RESERVATION MANAGER

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS

  • At least two years of professional experience in the upscale hotel industry, ideally in the reservation area
  • Good oral and written language skills (d/f/e)
  • Good computer and MS Office skills
  • Ideally Opera knowledge (Opera Cloud)
  • Guest-oriented, professional work and sales talent

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Handle professional telephone and written reservations

- Process all reservation requests efficiently

- Actively sell rooms and vouchers

- Create tailored offers for guests

- Maintain and update the guest database

- Provide guest service in three languages (German, French, English) and manage related correspondence

- Manage all reservation requests and bookings for groups post-contract, collaborating with sales and events teams

- Deliver professional customer service in compliance with LQA standards

- Implement strategies to enhance guest retention and drive repeat bookings through targeted marketing campaigns and exceptional service

- Conduct monthly commission checks for all OTAs and travel agencies

- Set rate codes for voucher sales

- Control pricing for group reservations

- Ensure timely processing of reservations, cancellations, and payments

- Maintain and oversee data accuracy in reservation systems

Revenue Management

- Maximize revenue through effective pricing, inventory control, and strategies to boost occupancy

- Develop and implement flexible, competitive pricing strategies based on market analysis

- Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, monitor performance indicators, and make informed revenue optimization decisions

- Collaborate with management to create the rooms revenue budget

- Continuously implement daily pricing, revenue, and yield management; actively up-sell and cross-sell
