We are seeking a Program Manager to partner with After Point of Sale (APOS) services Leadership to assist in defining, launching, and executing on our key strategic programs for the Global APOS (Renewals) business. This individual will collaborate effectively with internal end-users and cross-functional teams to launch new programs and deliver successfully against high standards. This is a hands-on position - the ideal candidate must be willing to "roll up their sleeves".

The ideal candidate earns trust through performance and relationship building, thinks strategically and analytically about business challenges, has extensive experience in project management and has an analytic background to assist the APOS Sales teams in meeting their business objectives. The candidate will be a self-starter with a bias towards independent problem solving, have an intrinsic drive for leading projects with discipline and insight, a passion for identifying and increasing process efficiency and proactively addressing business needs. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment, will be able to manage through ambiguity and complexity, and constantly seek ways to invent and simplify business processes. Organization, strong judgment, and the ability to activate plans are all essential to success in this role.

This position will work with stakeholders supporting the extended APOS Services organization, such as Sales, Service Operations, Business Development, Marketing, Business Transformation, IT, and the Partner team. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, as well as across other geographies. Current and ongoing work spans the following areas globally: One Lenovo integration for APOS Services and Solutions, Sales motion transformation and optimization, operations process optimization, and tool adoption & infrastructure where relevant.

Position Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in managing programs around end-to-end business enablement; sales strategy, tools and infrastructure, data analysis, process optimization, and vendor management.
  • Experience interpreting global initiatives, translating for local markets, and activating the rollout.
  • Experience developing quarterly business plans encompassing sales motions, targeted campaigns, KPI setting/measurement, training, and in-quarter management.
  • Ability to drive initiatives through indirect resources on a prolonged basis.
  • Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives.
  • Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors when necessary.
  • Ability to establish and manage multiple workstreams, varying timelines, and a variety of inputs from stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate ideas into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement sales motions, processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Ability to build and manage projects within project management software (Smartsheet preferred), to manage milestones and activities at team level and manage up for executive status messaging.
  • Excellent cross functional collaboration & influencing skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate has strong business acumen to lead complex projects across a broad stakeholder group.
  • Familiarity with renewals products, services, and sales strategies.
  • Experience within a high-growth, technology company would be highly beneficial.
  • Be able to operate successfully in a rapidly changing and ambiguous environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and long-term, act tactically, takes ownership and has business leadership to meet the needs of complex businesses problems.
  • Establish ways to measure and track metrics related to project adoption, and to make improvements to the approach based on those measurements.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to articulate details of programs, process, and plans to various audiences.
  • Ability to quickly identify obstacles and make recommendations on how to overcome.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
  • Direct Smartsheet advanced experience preferred.
  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
