We are looking for a Learning Materials Developer to join us in Bern, Switzerland. The successful candidate will become part of the pedagogical team at inlingua International, contributing to various innovative projects.

Tasks:

• Conceptualization and creation of foreign language learning materials in English, German, French, Spanish & Italian.
• Support in all production steps from concept to post-production.
• Copy-editing of author submissions
• Copy-editing of current inlingua materials
• Responsibility for reprints.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Excellent pedagogical and linguistic knowledge
• Familiar with the CEFR
• Experience in teaching and teacher training
• Experience in using AI and LLMs for text generation, as well as AI use in the language classroom
• Editing, layouting, and (online) publishing
• A creative spirit and strong team player
• Multilingual capabilities - proficiency in German (C2) and English (C1) is essential; knowledge of Spanish, French, and Italian is desirable.
• Experience in creating educational content across various formats, including e-books, audio, video.
• Knowledge of printing processes and online publishing.

Education:

• Diploma or Degree in DaF/ DaZ, EFL/ TESOL or any other form of foreign language education
