Project: For our customer, a large pharmaceutical company based in Kaiseraugst, we are looking for an Automation Engineer Pharma Engineering (m/f/d)

Background:
The Pharma Engineering department is looking for an automation engineer Pharma Engineering (m/f/d) with a focus on operational engineering for the Kaiseraugst site. As an automation engineer Pharma Engineering (m/f/d), operational and project engineering is overseen for the benefit of pharmaceutical production at the Basel site. The process plants to be looked after have a very high degree of automation and are strongly networked with each other and with higher-level IT systems. The focus of this position is on hardware planning. The perfect candidate has completed a degree in automation and has the relevant professional experience. The person is familiar with the implementation of investment projects, in particular with the procurement of package units. Technical expertise in network technology and automation software is particularly important: Siemens PCS7, S7, TIA AND WinCC as well as experience in the GMP and GAMP environment.

Main tasks and areas of responsibility:
• Management of automation projects in all project phases such as initiation, design and implementation (independently and with the support of internal and external specialists)
• Implementation of automation systems in the Roche infrastructure such as connecting the automation systems to the Data Historian
• Support of internal customers with technical questions and with official inspections
• Ensuring that production is maintained in operational engineering
• Proactive support of internal customers in the definition and initiation of investment projects

Must Haves:
• Completed degree (FH/TU) in automation or a comparable field
• 3-5 years of professional experience as an operations engineer in the execution of investment projects, in particular with the procurement of package units
• Technical expertise in network technology and automation software: Siemens PCS7, S7, TIA and WinCC
• Solid experience in the GMP and GAMP environment
• Ability to work in a team and very good communication and coordination skills within the organization as well as appropriate dealings with stakeholders at all levels
• Willingness to work in an agile, self-organized work environment
• Very good written and spoken German and English
