At Meteomatics, we're a team of proud nerds who deliver the most accurate weather data to over 600 companies and research institutions worldwide, helping them accelerate the energy transition, reduce the business’ impact on the environment, and make products and services safer for society.

We are looking for a Software Engineer with the following profile to join our team in St. Gallen.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and implement tools for production to easily configure our Meteodrones and Meteobases
• Improve our pipelines and build processes
• DevOps assistance
• Ensure a seamless transition from development to production
• Simplify deployment of updates to Meteodrones and Meteobases

Your qualifications

• You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• You preferably have some work experience as software developer in an agile team
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab
• Programming skills in Python, Bash
• Experience with ansible would be a plus
• Preferably experience with relational database
• You’re fluent in English. German (or Swiss German 😉) is a plus
• You show initiative and strong communication skills - not only to solve your coding task, but to reach the next level!
