You will work for a Swiss-based client on the application for Real Estate valuation. It’s an interactive web application for real estate market analysis. The application provides convenient access to spatial and real estate information for Switzerland and Germany. An intuitive interface allows displaying large quantities of data directly on the map (based on Google Maps) and through a variety of tables and charts with capabilities similar to the OLAP cubes known from data warehouses.

Key responsibilities

• You will enhance the existing working product


• You will work in a team that can decide about the architecture, technologies, and tools


• You will create usable, efficient code


• You will work with a highly skilled team of developers who care about the quality and craftsmanship


• Development of new features 80%, maintenance 20% You will work in Scrum methodology

Requirements

• Advanced programming skills in Java


• Understanding of front-end development tools and technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML)


• Nice to have but not mandatory Angular or React experience


• Previous experience with REST API and microservice architecture


• Broad experience with JDK and common open-source Java libraries


• Openness to new technologies, invention


• Abstract and analytic way of thinking


• Excellent problem solving and communication skills Fluent English
