WinGD is looking for a

Customer Support Manager iCER

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the post development of WinGD DF technology with strong focus on exhaust gas recirculation (iCER system).
  • Task management of the interdisciplinary team of experts from global R&D, operation experts, customer support, field testing and external companies.
  • Define short term and mid-term design improvements, changes to yard installation documents, engine drawings and manuals in close cooperation with our customers and suppliers.
  • Provide instructions to our global operation support team and derive operation guidelines for the ships crews.
  • Ensure timely and consistent communication towards our customers; engine builders, shipyards and ship operators together with our local offices.
  • Monitor actual project cost; forecast future cost to define the budget need for the upcoming periods.
  • Determine resource needs and formulate hiring proposals (internal/possibly external resources) to ensure timely implementation of product improvements.
  • Set up status reporting and decision taking meetings involving the WinGD executive management.
  • Support and/ or moderation of customer / supplier meetings

Requirements:

  • MSc or BSc degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the marine engine business
  • Knowledge of cooperation with internal and external partners
  • Pro-active and self driven personality
  • 2S product and exhaust gas treatment knowledge of advantage
  • Fluent in English (written / verbal)
