Head of Financial Reporting & Consolidation

Financial Consolidation: You oversee the consolidation process for financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accurate group-level reporting. Management Reporting: You lead the creation of management reports, providing insights into financial performance, trends, and risk areas. Financial Planning: You lead and improve the financial planning process, including mid-term planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Financial Analysis: You conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements and provide insights to support executive management in operational and strategic decision-making. Compliance and Standards: You ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and stay updated on any changes in reporting requirements. System Enhancement: You manage and optimize financial consolidation software systems (Onestream), ensuring they meet the group's reporting needs. Audit Coordination: You coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations for consolidated financial statements. Corporate Governance: You ensure corporate governance; Develop and enforce financial reporting policies and procedures within the group. Team Leadership: You build and maintain a high-performance reporting & consolidation team. Develop staff capabilities and succession planning. Process Improvement: You continuously seek out and implement process improvements to streamline reporting procedures and improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports. Cross-Functional Communication: You collaborate with other departments to ensure that financial information reflects operational realities and supports decision-making.
Technical Expertise: Profound knowledge of consolidation techniques, international accounting standards, and financial reporting. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and reports, providing accurate insights and actionable recommendations. Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a small team of financial professionals. Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the capacity to juggle multiple deadlines, to maintain permanently high-quality output, especially under time-pressure. Attention to Detail and Quality: to always ensure the accuracy of financial reports. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to interpret and clearly explain complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically in terms of process efficiency, resource allocation, and long-term financial planning. Technology Proficiency: Extensive experience with financial consolidation software (HFM, Onestream); advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Powerpoint; familiarity with business intelligence tools is a plus.
