Internship M&A

Zurich |Home Office up to 60% | Reference 6294

The M&A department falls under the Head of Strategy and M&A within the CFO area. The department is responsible for group-wide M&A activities and investment management. As a member of our team, you will make a significant contribution to the development of SIX during a 6 to 12 months internship by supporting M&A projects and the management of investments. Start date as soon as possible.

What You Will Do

  • supporting the SIX M&A team in ongoing M&A projects and in the area of M&A strategy
  • building of financial models, company valuations and strategic analyses
  • carrying out research on market and company developments
  • project management support for complex M&A projects
  • preparation of presentations for internal decision-making bodies

What You Bring

  • university or technical degree as well as higher professional education in the field of economics or industrial engineering with a focus on finance
  • practical work experience in M&A/investment banking or strategy consulting desirable
  • very good MS Office skills (esp. Excel and Power Point)
  • know-how about planning and organizational methods as well as analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • fluent English is a must, German and/or Spanish is a plus
