The Workplace Experience Centre of Excellence (CoE) is dedicated to designing and delivering great products and experiences to employees. Within this COE, the Workplace Experience squad is focused specifically on solutions aim to streamline operations, improve employee engagement, and foster a positive work culture.

The primary goal of an Agile Delivery Manager is to create an environment that supports efficient collaboration and empowers team members to deliver high-quality work within the Agile framework. By creating and fostering an environment of continuous improvement, feedback and team empowerment, the Agile Delivery Manager contributes significantly to the overall success of squad initiatives.

You will also be responsible for the following:

  • Guiding the squad towards self-organisation and continuous improvement to produce increments of value.
  • Ensuring that agile ceremonies (e.g. daily stand ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint review/showcase, sprint retro) are facilitated by the team.
  • Working closely with the Product Owner by providing support and structure to develop and prioritize the backlog accordingly using the product roadmap as guidance.
  • Solidifying and focusing the squad on agreed goals, facilitating transparency to the team.
  • Support the team by connecting them to the rest of the organisation (e.g. Impediment removal, release scheduling/coordination and consulting SMEs).
  • Tracking the team delivery performance metrics and reporting (e.g. velocity, burndown, sprint reports, cycle time).
  • Continuously coaching the team ensuring agile ways of working are helping team to improve delivery: Right tool, Right time for the Right outcome.
  • Building value driven delivery culture and coaching squad team towards high performance and autonomy
  • Champion an agile mindset, principles, and methodologies
  • Capturing, tracking, and assisting teams’ Agile maturity.
  • Protecting the team by creating an environment based on openness, commitment, focus, courage, and respect.
  • Assisting the team's delivery by removing impediments ensuring the team can progress with its delivery.
  • Promoting sustainable working using data to guide work management and available capacity.

Important to your success - let's grow together

  • Tertiary qualifications or multiple years relevant experience
  • Proven examples of delivering key initiatives
  • Understanding of and experience with Agile methodologies, tools and techniques
  • Understanding of Product Management with Agile
  • Knowledge of Service Design
  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD
  • Coaching Experience
  • Conflict Management
  • Facilitation and Moderation skills
  • Demonstrated track record of continuous improvement and problem solving capabilities.
  • Change management and communication experience would be preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of workplace technology would be preferred
