We are strengthening the CA&C Team responsible for the local Swiss market organization and are looking for a passionate team player for the role of

 

The incumbent, reporting to the Corporate Affairs & Communications Director, proactively manages the organization’s relationship with internal and external stakeholders. The role involves planning, implementing, and monitoring communication and engagement strategies to protect the company’s reputation. They play a crucial role in shaping public perception, managing crises, and advocating for JTI’s interests.

Your responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess political, legislative and regulatory developments 
  • Develop initiatives to support business priorities and strengthen the company’s reputation towards all stakeholders
  • Review and constantly update a robust stakeholder map 
  • Build and maintain stakeholder network, including authorities, politicians and media
  • Develop and execute advocacy and communications strategies 
  • Prepare and edit high-quality communication instruments such as presentations, position papers, fact sheets, Q&As etc.
  • Represent the company in several associations and networks
  • Lead various projects related to the social responsibility as a tobacco company

 

Your qualifications and professional experience

  • University or higher professional education degree in the field of Public Affairs 
  • 5+ years of working experience in the field of external affairs and communications
  • Excellent verbal and written German and English skills, French is a plus
  • Strong communication, negotiation and facilitation skills
  • Agile and independent approach to work with a can-do attitude
