Technical Trainer - Process Automation (m/f/d) - Georg Fischer Rohrleitungssysteme AG, Schaffhausen

Your tasks:

• Responsible for preparing and executing professional training, workshops and seminars from the offerings of our GFPS Global Academy in the field of process automation.
• Supporting the revision, development and implementation of live training, videos and content for e-learning initiatives for process automation training courses
• Collaborate in an international network of trainers and training centers. Supporting each other with up-to-date material and best practices.
• You are in constant communication with your trainer colleagues, other departments and our customers.
• As a competent trainer, you will look after a wide variety of visitor groups from Switzerland and abroad and let them experience the fascination of GF Piping Systems at first hand.

Your profile:

• Successfully completed vocational training in electrical or mechanical engineering and/or a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in automation technologies, industrial processes, and control systems, preferably in the field of plastic piping systems.
• Prior experience in delivering technical training to diverse audiences, both in-person and virtually at an industrial company with an international environment
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
• You are fluent in German and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additional languages are a plus.
• You have initiative, enthusiasm, organizational skills and have a desire to provide an excellent customer experience.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and cultures to achieve common goals.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to different global locations for training purposes (10 - 20%)
