Production Project Manager

We are currently looking for a Production Project Manager for our office in Prague.

As Production Project Manager you will be managing projects applying lean management principles, modern production methods and IT tools for Machining, Welding, Composites, electrical equipment and electronics supply chains and production counting over 500 employees.

You will work closely together with management and specialists on site in Czech Republic, Switzerland and other locations worldwide.

Your main goals are to define and implement key improvement projects in the supply chain and production in order to increase efficiency, throughput time and quality.

Together with production management you will analyze production processes, identify improvement points. You will define and prioritize improvement projects and set-up actions leading to process optimization and digitalization.

You will lead and coordinate these improvement projects with a team of specialists (e.g. methods engineers) and drive implementation. You will be in frequent contact with foremen, departments managers, methods/process engineers, purchasing, logistics and engineering.

As the ideal candidate you would have:

  • Technical educational background
  • Good knowledge of production methods and technologies
  • Practical experience in a similar role in a manufacturing company
  • Experience with implementing process improvement methods
  • Understanding of 6 sigma and lean methodology
  • Experience with ERP system
  • Fluent in English
  • Project management skills
