The Sensor Software and Prototyping Engineering Program Management organization is responsible for delivering software for sensors in Apple products. We partner with the engineering teams to deliver critical and key technologies like FaceID and features like Eye and Hands input as well as Persona for Apple Vision Pro. The Zurich Vision Lab is focused on improving communication by advancing the state of the art in computer vision and machine learning. We are shipping features such as Persona for Apple Vision Pro, Portrait Mode, ARKit, Animoji and FaceTime Eye Contact. These breakthroughs are enabled by state of the art research combined with world class design. We are looking for an Engineering Program Manager which will support the Zurich Vision Lab team locally, in Zurich, Switzerland, helping the team deliver next-generation computer vision features for our products.

  • Ability to comprehend the technical details in Machine Learning, Computer Vision and related algorithms

Description

In this role, you will drive large, cross-functional efforts to build technologies across Apple. Your ability to develop relationships and trust across hardware and software teams will be key to your success. You will: - Work cross-functionally to plan and deliver computer vision features for our products. - Create development schedules, identify critical paths, identify risks, and support the teams during execution. - Ensure tight inter-team coordination and communication and help identify communication gaps and close them. - Be able to grasp complex technical topics along with abstracting key issues and risks into an actionable form for your team and executives.

Education & Experience

Currently enrolled in a PhD or Masters program in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Machine Learning or equivalent. We prefer candidates who are close to finishing the program.

Additional Requirements

  • - Availability for 6 months minimum is preferred.
  • - Experience in the industry is a plus, especially in project management or ML engineering roles.
