Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving and managing component requirements in close collaboration with Marketing, Technology, and R&D stakeholders
- Balancing and aligning Marketing, Technology, and Component Development needs to identify the right compromises and priorities
- Ensuring Sonova maintains a competitive component portfolio that supports future solution and product development
- Driving the adoption and reuse of components across multiple products and offerings
- Collaborating closely with Marketing functions, Component Development teams, and Technology & Function organizations to deliver successful component solutions
- Acting as the central point of ownership and coordination for assigned components across the organization
More about you
- A degree in Engineering, Technology, Physics, Electronics, Systems Engineering, Product Development, or a related field
- Several years of experience in engineering, R&D, or technical product development, combined with exposure to product management, product marketing, technology strategy, or customer/market-driven requirement definition
- Experience in medical devices, hearing technology, consumer electronics, telecommunications, automotive, or other highly regulated industries
- Experience working in cross-functional product development environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Energy, curiosity, and a strong sense of ownership. Proactively driving topics forward, embracing challenges, and taking accountability for achieving results, even when solutions require balancing competing priorities and navigating uncertainty.
- The ability to balance technical possibilities with customer and business needs
- Ability to leverage AI for better output and efficiency through advanced prompting
- Fluent English communication skills; good German language skills are considered an asset
