Kick-start your career in IT and help shape modern IT infrastructures. As an apprentice in Platform Development at Ziemer, you will work with innovative technologies, support employees with their day-to-day IT needs, and help ensure that our systems remain secure, reliable, and high-performing.
As an IT Specialist in Platform Development, you will plan, install, operate, and monitor modern IT infrastructures. During your apprenticeship at Ziemer, you will set up workstations, servers, networks, and mobile devices, manage user accounts and access permissions, and support employees with technical questions. You will troubleshoot system issues, resolve technical problems, and gain hands-on experience with various operating systems, applications, and cloud solutions. Working closely with our ICT team, you will contribute to exciting IT projects, automate recurring processes, and continuously improve our IT platforms. Information security, data protection, as well as the availability and performance of our systems are at the core of everything we do.
You have completed lower secondary school or achieved an excellent intermediate secondary school qualification and have a strong interest in IT, technology, and digital innovation. You enjoy logical and analytical thinking, work carefully, independently, and reliably, and are motivated to solve technical challenges. Patience and persistence when troubleshooting are among your strengths, along with strong communication and teamwork skills. You enjoy working with people, supporting users with technical issues, and are eager to continuously learn and develop your skills.
